On the sail home we had 15kts of wind almost directly from behind and it was a quick sail back home. Unfortunately when we were heading into the channel and furling the mainsail the inhaul got jammed and the line snapped. I had to grab a wench and head to the mast to manually roll in the mainsail while Lisa kept us motoring into the wind. Once we got all the sails secure we made our way back into Pecan Grove Marina put the boat away and had dinner and a couple beers for our hard day’s work. It was a great Memorial Day weekend.
While you’re enjoying your weekend remember why we celebrate this holiday. Godspeed my brothers.
