Over the last few weeks too many things have been taking our time that do not involve sailing or even seeing Starjewel. Lisa had a little tune up on her knees so she can be ready to go hiking, walking, and swimming all day when we retire. Once she was well enough to make it around on her own and drive around town I was off on my travels again. I was working in Pensacola Florida, Huntsville Alabama and Tunis Tunisia. I can’t complain about traveling though. Other than the sometimes 24 hour time that is required flying across the ocean the travel is always a good time. I get to see new places and talk to interesting people. If nothing else I will be very well versed in clearing customs and getting my passport stamped by the time we untie from Pecan Grove Marina.
I’ve been to Pensacola and Huntsville several times before, but this was my first trip to Tunisia and unfortunately I didn’t have any time to get out and see the sights. Work ran well into dinner time and upon return to the hotel much more work awaited. From the little I was able to see it seemed like a place I would like to return to by sail in a few years. Lisa and I will be able to see it again with a much less hurried timeline in a few years.
